Job Description:
1. Meets established goals for sales activity/contacts daily including but not limited to consumer originations, deposit production, non-deposit investment referrals. 2. Responds to customer inquiries; explains new and existing products and services and resolves customer complaints. Demonstrates the ability to profile customers, identify needs, and cross sell effectively. 3. Actively leads and participates in daily huddles and sales meetings. 4. Meets established goals for branch operations and service. 5. Pursues extended sales goals, utilizing telephone, referrals and mail. 6. Establishes relationships with customers, local businesses and community organizations to enhance the overall marketing efforts of the retail sales office by representing the Company at civic, social and community functions. 7. Enhances knowledge of all new Bank products and services through education and training on a continuous basis. 8. Maintains communications with customers to determine the satisfaction level with newly opened accounts/services. Fosters a teamwork environment through in-branch collaboration and partnering with all lines of business 9. Initiate conversations to uncover customer needs and effectively referring customers to business partners for selling and cross selling bank products.
Experience Required:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and 12 to 24 months related retail sales and bank operations experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must possess thorough knowledge of Microsoft Word.
